Elsberry Health Care Center opened its doors in May of 1976 and provides a home-like environment in a calm, relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views of the Mississippi rolling foothills. We remain strong and committed to providing quality nursing home care at the lowest possible rate.
Facility
A remodeling project was completed in the Spring of 2014 that created a dayroom, screened porch, patio area, and walking paths. The outside area is fenced and it gives the residents an area to safely enjoy the outdoors. This area also has raised planters for flowers and vegetables. We love seeing our residents enjoying these areas daily.
Reducing Your Worries
Elsberry Health Care Center is a 56-bed skilled nursing facility that offers 24-hour care for individuals unable to live alone or care for themselves.
The facility employs approximately 60 employees from local Elsberry and surrounding communities. Personnel consists of licensed nurses and certified nurse assistants. There are local physicians who see the residents monthly and who are available by phone between visits.
Annual Inspections
Each year, nursing homes licensed in the state of Missouri are inspected to ensure they are in compliance with state and federal laws. Elsberry Health Care Center has had a good inspection history and has put many quality systems in place, which we constantly review to ensure the facility is performing and providing care at a high level.
Insurance Coverage
Our facility is certified to accept Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, or private nursing home insurance.
